The Fallen Outdoors

The Fallen Outdoors is a national 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to organizing outdoor adventures for veterans, active-duty service members, and Gold Star families. Founded in 2009 by three soldiers during a deployment to Afghanistan, the organization creates opportunities for service members from every generation and branch of the military to reconnect through hunting, fishing, hiking, camping, and other outdoor experiences.

Through thousands of trips across the country, The Fallen Outdoors helps veterans build lasting bonds, create new memories, and experience the therapeutic benefits of the outdoors. Their mission is rooted in camaraderie, connection, healing, and honoring those who served by helping veterans continue living fully after service.
